Social Media Integration

Data Sharing with Social Media Platforms

This website links to my LinkedIn profile, but it does not embed social media buttons, feeds, or tracking code. No social media platform is told about your visit to this website unless you follow a link to it, and once you are on that platform, its own privacy policy applies.

Social Media Accounts

I maintain profiles on various social media platforms. When you follow, like, comment, or interact with my social media accounts:

  • I may receive aggregate data about these interactions from the social media platform
  • I may collect and process any personal information you voluntarily provide in your public interactions with my social media accounts
  • Your interactions with my social media accounts are also governed by the privacy policies of the respective social media platforms

I encourage you to review the privacy policies of any social media platforms you use to understand how they collect and process your information.

Professional Services Disclaimer

This Privacy Policy governs the collection and use of information through this website and my general communications. When you engage Keyara for consulting services, the handling of your information will also be subject to:

Service Agreements

The terms of any professional services agreement, statement of work, or other contract between you and Keyara will govern the use and handling of information provided in connection with those services. In the event of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and the terms of such agreements, the terms of the service agreement will control with respect to the subject matter of that agreement.

Client Confidentiality

I maintain strict confidentiality of client information provided to me in the course of my professional services. I do not use client confidential information for any purpose other than providing the agreed-upon services, unless otherwise authorized by the client or required by law.

Project-Specific Privacy Measures

Cookies and Similar Technologies

This website's own code does not set cookies, and it does not use advertising trackers or tracking pixels. It uses one analytics service, which sets no cookies. Here is what runs, and what each thing does:

  • Website analytics: I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and visits, and to see which pages are read and which websites send visitors here. It does not use cookies or any other storage in your browser, and Cloudflare states that it does not fingerprint visitors by IP address, browser details, or any other data for its analytics. When a page loads, a small script from Cloudflare sends Cloudflare the page address, the page that referred you, your browser type, and how long the page took to load; as with any web request, Cloudflare also receives your IP address. I see only totals, never individual visitors.
  • Browser cache: to make repeat visits load faster, this website saves copies of its own files and fonts in your browser. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
  • Third-party services: fonts are delivered by Google Fonts, and a script library is delivered by cdnjs (Cloudflare), so those providers receive your IP address when they send those files. The contact form is an embedded Airtable form, and it is governed by Airtable's own privacy and cookie policies.

Third-Party Websites

This website may contain links to third-party websites and applications. I am not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these third-party sites. I encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit.

Children's Privacy

This website and my services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you become aware that a child has provided me with personal information, please contact me. If I become aware that I have collected personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, I will take steps to remove that information from my servers.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

For significant changes to this Privacy Policy, I will make reasonable efforts to provide notice, such as through a prominent notice on this website or by sending you an email notification.
